Capes and Prairies

Today we are learning about capes and prairies. The next couple are going to be a little more complex. You might of heard of Cape Cod, or you might have even been there.

A cape is a pointed piece of land that sticks out into a sea, ocean, lake, or river.
A prairie is a wide, relatively flat area of land that has grasses and only a few trees.
