Today's lesson is oceans.
Oceans are a very large body of water. There are 5 different oceans on Earth.
If you live near a ocean you definitely need to watch out for tsunamis and hurricanes. Atlantic, Pacific, Indian, Artic, and the Southern are the 5 oceans. The farther you get from the oceans the hotter it can get. No other planet is able to have water.
This is looking awesome! Great work. The further you get from oceans, you said it gets hotter. What about it colder climate, like in Alaska. Does it get hotter or colder, the further you get from the ocean, in those climates?

DeleteNice job, son.
ReplyDeleteHi Brandt, Wow this is amazing!! You are doing an excellent job! Keep up the great work! I love to go to the ocean and sit on the beach. Do you happen to know how much of the earth is covered by water? Jen
ReplyDeleteAbout 70% of Earth is covered by water.
DeleteI'm not sure - which ocean is near Aunt Sandy in Goolwa, Australia?
ReplyDeleteIn between the Southern Ocean and the Indian Ocean.
DeleteHi Brandt,
ReplyDeleteRight now I'm following your advice about watching out for hurricanes if we live near an ocean. We're having very strong winds on Smith Island and expected to get stronger! A lot of rain has fallen already too. The tide is in the road and will get higher. Other than that, everything is normal!! LOL I like your blog!
love, Pa
Brandt,
